About this opportunity
The State of Wyoming, Department of Workforce Services is soliciting competitive proposals for a comprehensive Workers' Compensation Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The requested solution must provide claims, medical/billing, policy, and common functionality to consolidate the state's numerous existing systems and applications into a single platform. The state receives approximately 9,750 new reported injuries per year and has around 50 claims adjusters, requiring a scalable system to manage a significant volume of documents and data. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM Mountain Time on September 4, 2024, and a mandatory pre-proposal conference was held on July 15, 2024. Written questions can be submitted through the Public Purchase online bidding system until July 25, 2024. The state is open to both existing solutions and new software development, and is flexible on pricing models, requiring only that all data reside within the continental United States.
The procurement does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current license spend for the state's workers' compensation systems is approximately $2.5 million, covering numerous vendors and systems, with the majority including maintenance and support. While the state's preferred solution is StateRAMP authorized, it is not a mandatory requirement. The state has not provided any information about incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor has it specified an award value or budget range for this procurement.
