About this opportunity
The State of Maine is soliciting bids on a Wood Boxes Master Agreement with proposals due September 5, 2012. The master agreement establishes a standing contract vehicle enabling state and local agencies to procure wood boxes and related products at pre-negotiated unit pricing on an as-needed basis.
The scope covers multiple wood box categories and sizes with detailed specifications for dimensions, materials, and construction standards. Pricing is tiered across different box types and configurations, with unit costs varying by product complexity and material requirements. The master agreement structure allows individual agencies flexibility in order quantities and delivery schedules while maintaining competitive pricing and consistent quality standards.
Prospective vendors must submit a Debarment Certification under Executive Order 12549 and 29 CFR Part 98, certifying that they and their principals are not debarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment; have not been convicted of or had civil judgments rendered against them for fraud, criminal offenses, or violations related to public transactions within the preceding three years; are not currently indicted or criminally or civilly charged with such offenses; and have not had public transactions terminated for cause or default within the three-year period preceding the proposal. Vendors unable to certify all statements must attach a written explanation. The Maine Military Authority reserves the right to terminate the transaction for cause if a vendor knowingly submitted an erroneous certification.
All vendor questions must be submitted through the designated Question and Answer link on the Solicitation Details View page; responses will be posted on the same platform, and vendors are responsible for regularly reviewing all posted questions and answers. Questions and answers obtained through any other method will not be considered valid for this RFQ.
