About this opportunity

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking competitive bids through an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the manufacture and delivery of entrance signs for Wildlife Management Areas throughout Florida. The procurement encompasses three sign types: Primary entrance signs (44"h x 95.5"w), Secondary entrance signs (42"x47.5"), and Cooperative Area entrance signs (42"x47.5"), with a minimum initial order of 7 Primary, 7 Secondary, and 9 Cooperative signs required by June 30, 2027. All signs must be manufactured from 3/4-inch thick, 3-ply HDPE sheet in King Plastics Color-Core material with routed text and a 4-color acrylic FWC logo insert, delivered to the FWC Northeast Region Office in Ocala, Florida. Qualified bidders must provide cost-per-sign pricing for each sign type including all manufacturing, proofs, replacement logos (three per sign order), and maintenance kits with patching materials for bullet hole repairs, along with a minimum 10-year warranty on labor and manufacturer-specified material warranties. Bidders must submit responses by April 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET, with a public bid opening scheduled for the same day; questions must be submitted by April 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET, and the anticipated award date is April 29, 2026. Prospective vendors must provide a minimum of three references for similar projects, be registered in both MyFloridaMarketPlace and SunBiz systems, ensure compliance with E-Verify enrollment and forced labor provisions, and certify their status on applicable vendor lists; the contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest total price.

The procurement does not indicate specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses, though all bidders must comply with standard state of Florida compliance certifications and vendor registration requirements. Subcontracting is not permitted under this contract, and the FWC retains responsibility for installation with the contractor responsible for all delivery coordination and off-loading to the designated location. The initial contract term is one year with an option to renew for up to one additional year on the same terms and conditions, with payment contingent upon delivery, inspection, and approval by the FWC Project Manager. No incumbent vendor or current contractor information is specified in the procurement documents. The specific award value or budget range is not disclosed in the available documentation, though costs should be provided on a per-sign basis to enable evaluation across the three sign types and quantities.
