About this opportunity

The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes for whiteboards, corkboards, and fabric bulletin boards under a micro purchase with quotes due September 14, 2026. Award will be made as a whole or by line item at the City's discretion to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.

The estimated contract value does not exceed $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020, to the most recently published rate and rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. The contract term is 365 days from the Effective Date, with automatic termination thereafter. Pricing must be quoted net and exclusive of taxes on an FOB Destination Point basis. All quotes remain valid for 60 days from submission; if a seller submits multiple quotes, only the last submission by the deadline will be considered.

Sellers must maintain Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits, General Liability insurance with a minimum of $500,000 per occurrence, and Automobile Liability insurance at $300,000 per occurrence if applicable. Prior to contract performance, sellers must obtain a tax identification number and comply with Philadelphia's business income and receipts tax, net profits tax, and City wage tax requirements.

Submission is through PHLContracts.phila.gov. All sellers must submit a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement prior to bid closing—either by attaching it to their vendor profile at registration or by including it with their first submitted quote. The City strongly encourages uploading the executed agreement to vendor profiles at registration to avoid quote-by-quote submission. A voluntary LGBTQ Applicant Data Form is available for applicants to disclose LGBTBE certification through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and any other third-party certifications such as minority or women's business enterprise designations. Sellers must not deliver products or provide services until notified by the requesting department.
