The scope covers three weed abatement visits per year to each of seven locations: County Fairgrounds and Weights and Measures facility in Vallejo; Georgia Street PG&E site in Vallejo; 2101 and 2201 Courage Drive, Solano Juvenile Hall, 2500 Clay Bank Road, and Falls School in Fairfield. Services include discing, mowing, herbicide treatments, and hand trimming to reduce fire hazards and maintain compliance with the 2025 California Fire Code and California Public Resources Code Section 4291 (30–100 foot vegetation clearance around structures). All herbicide and pesticide applications require personnel holding a current Qualified Applicator Certificate or Qualified Applicator License from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation.
The contract is firm fixed price covering all twenty-one annual visits across seven sites. The term is three years, October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2029, with the County reserving the right to extend for two additional one-year terms without competitive rebidding, subject to contractor performance and continued funding. Responses due September 25, 2026; contractor selection date is October 8, 2026. Bid prices must remain valid for 90 days after IFB closing. Normal payment terms are net 30–45 days after invoice and equipment acceptance.
