About this opportunity

The Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA), a quasi-public agency dedicated to expanding post-secondary educational opportunities, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive website redesign, development, and consulting services. The procurement encompasses three distinct web properties: CHESLA's primary website (CHESLA.org), a microsite (ctstudentloanpaydown.com), and a financial literacy portal (CTDollarsandSense.com). Prospective vendors must demonstrate expertise in website design, development, and ongoing consulting to support CHESLA's mission of providing cost-effective education financing programs and information resources to Connecticut students, alumni, and their families. The Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation number CHESLA07102023 was released on July 10, 2023, with proposals due by August 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM EDT. A vendor Q&A period is scheduled from July 10, 2023, at 2:30 PM EDT through August 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM EDT, during which potential bidders can seek clarification on the project requirements.

The RFP is open to all vendors without specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types. No incumbent vendor information or current contract details are provided in the documentation. The solicitation does not specify an estimated total contract value, budget range, or funding sources. Interested firms are instructed to review the attached documents, specifically the "2023 CHESLA Website RFP_FINAL.pdf" and "CHESLA RFP Question Responses-FINAL.pdf," which contain detailed scope of services and additional requirements. The primary contact for questions is Shannon Reynolds, located at CHESLA's Hartford office at 10 Columbus Blvd, 7th Floor. Payment terms will be specified by the selected vendor, and the procurement appears to be seeking a comprehensive solution that can enhance CHESLA's digital presence and support its educational mission across multiple web platforms.
