About this opportunity
The University of Central Florida (UCF) is requesting proposals for a warehouse operations business partner to provide material purchasing, inventory management, and logistics services for its centralized Facilities Management Maintenance Repair Operations Stock Room under ITN 2025-16MCDA, with proposals due July 24, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST.
The contractor will operate an approximately 35,000-square-foot warehouse facility with 8,200 square feet designated for contractor operations during UCF business hours (6:30 AM–6:30 PM, Monday–Friday). The scope requires sourcing MRO supplies and materials based on best value, availability, quality, service, and operational requirements without limitation to any single manufacturer, distributor, or supplier network. Performance standards include one-hour delivery for stock items from the warehouse, four-hour delivery for out-of-stock items from local sources, and 24-hour delivery for back-ordered items. The contractor must integrate operations with UCF's AIM integrated work management system, maintain inventory within the system, and provide reporting and analytics on material spend, supplier performance, inventory utilization, and work order-related purchasing.
The contractor must maintain commercial general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, auto liability insurance of $1 million per accident, and workers' compensation insurance per Florida Statutes. Pricing shall be all-inclusive of management fees, handling, administrative charges, markups, and standard freight and delivery costs unless otherwise identified.
The initial contract term is three years with renewal options not to exceed five years or twice the original contract term, whichever is longer; extensions may not exceed 12 months or until completion of a competitive solicitation and award or protest resolution. Evaluation criteria are experience and qualifications (10 points), scope of work (40 points), references (10 points), and financials/pricing (40 points), with pass/fail conformance to mandatory ITN conditions. Written questions are due July 6, 2026 by 5:00 PM EST. A proposal opening meeting is scheduled for July 24, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST via Teams.
