Six bid line items cover mobilization/demobilization, anthracite removal, sand removal, internal repairs, sand procurement and installation (unit price per cubic foot), and filter restoration, all with a contract completion deadline of 40 working days. Liquidated damages are assessed at $500 per calendar day for delays. Acceptable silica sand suppliers are CEI Filtration (Ohio), Northern Filter Media (Iowa), Unifilt Corporation (Pennsylvania), and Carbon Activated Corp. (California).

Bids must be submitted electronically through the Sacramento County Electronic Bidding Portal with automatic online opening at 2:01 p.m. on the due date.
