About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Financial Services, Criminal Investigations Division, is seeking to procure a 3-year subscription to the Verisk Database, which provides insurance claims data, investigative analytics, and predictive modeling tools to support the Department's fraud detection and investigation efforts. The database includes specialized modules such as NetMap for link analysis and MedSentry for identifying fraud, waste, and abuse. The Department has determined that Verisk, through its subsidiary Insurance Services Office, Inc., is the sole source provider of these services, which integrate with the National Insurance Crime Bureau's fraud reporting systems. The estimated value of the 3-year contract is $3,163,462. The Department has posted this notice in accordance with Florida's competitive solicitation requirements and is providing an opportunity for prospective vendors to submit information demonstrating their ability to provide the requested services. If no viable alternatives are identified, the Department intends to award a sole source contract to Verisk/ISO.

The procurement is limited to Verisk/ISO as the sole source provider of the required services. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current incumbent vendor is Verisk/ISO, as the Department has determined they are the only provider capable of meeting the specialized requirements. The Department has not provided a specific budget range, but the estimated value of the 3-year contract is $3,163,462.
