About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Investigative and Forensic Services, is proposing to purchase a Verisk Database Subscription from Insurance Services Office, Inc. The subscription will provide access to the National Insurance Crime Bureau's reporting and sharing platform for suspected fraudulent insurance transactions. The subscription includes access to Verisk's NetMap link analysis tool and MedSentry AI-driven analytics platform. The Department has determined Verisk is the sole source provider of these services, as they serve as the systems manager for the National Insurance Crime Bureau and enable direct reporting and sharing of fraud data among insurers, the Bureau, and the Department. The estimated cost for the 1-year subscription is $984,000. Prospective vendors that believe they can provide these services are requested to submit relevant information by December 1, 2023. If the Department determines the services are only available from Verisk, it will post a notice of its intended decision to enter an agreement with the company.

This opportunity is not designated for any specific business categories. The Department has not identified an incumbent vendor or any existing infrastructure or technology requirements. The proposed award value is $984,000 for the 1-year subscription period, though the final contract value may vary based on the Department's evaluation of information submitted by prospective vendors.
