About this opportunity
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles is soliciting bids for Fall and Spring Grounds Maintenance Services at three locations—Dover DMV, Tamworth DMV, and Twin Mountain DMV—under RFB DOS-2027-01, with bids due July 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
The scope includes debris removal and disposal, raking and cleanup of lawn and turf areas, trimming and pruning of bushes and shrubs, tree trimming, sweeping and cleanup of paved surfaces, and topdressing of mulch beds with dark brown mulch at all three locations across Strafford, Carroll, and Coos counties. Bidders may submit bids for one, multiple, or all three locations with separate pricing for each.
All contractors must be registered as New Hampshire vendors with the NH Bureau of Purchase and Property, maintain current registration with the NH Secretary of State, and provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, plus evidence of workers' compensation compliance. Contractors must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and disposal services.
The contract term is three years from Governor and Executive Council approval, with an optional extension of up to two additional years at the State's sole discretion. Pricing is due separately for each fiscal year (FY27, FY28, FY29) and for spring and fall cleanups at each location. The State reserves the right to award individual lots to a single vendor, multiple lots to multiple vendors, or make no award. Awards will go to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total cost for each lot. Vendor inquiries are due July 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with agency responses due by July 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Payment will be made within thirty days of receipt of properly documented invoices and acceptance of work.
