About this opportunity

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking to acquire Service Maintenance Agreements for FLIR aerial camera systems attached to their aviation fleet. These specialized FLIR camera systems are essential for the agency's law enforcement duties in maritime safety, marine resource protection, game and fish protection, domestic security, aerial surveillance, and search and rescue operations. Teledyne FLIR Surveillance, Inc. has been identified as the sole source provider for these proprietary camera systems and associated maintenance services. The contract term is 4 years starting July 1, 2024, with an estimated dollar amount of $750,000 for this single-source procurement. The agency has determined that these FLIR camera systems and maintenance services are only available from Teledyne FLIR Surveillance, Inc. to ensure system reliability and operational readiness. Prospective vendors must provide information in writing regarding their ability to supply the commodities or services by April 16, 2024 at 8:30 AM.

This is a sole-source procurement, and Teledyne FLIR Surveillance, Inc. is the incumbent vendor and the only manufacturer, distributor, and service center in the USA for the Safire 380 and Safire 380X FLIR camera systems used by FWC. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and the contract does not require any specific integration with existing infrastructure or technology. The estimated budget for this procurement is $750,000.
