About this opportunity

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking a sole source vendor to provide an extended warranty and service maintenance agreement for its Teledyne FLIR STAR Safire aerial camera systems. These camera systems are essential for the agency's law enforcement and public safety operations. The requested services include full system coverage for parts, labor, and shipping for factory repairs, with a term of 3 years upon purchase order issuance. Teledyne FLIR Defense, Inc. is the sole source manufacturer, distributor, and service center for the STAR Safire systems, and FWC is justifying a single-source acquisition based on the unique and necessary nature of the products and services. The estimated dollar amount for the contract is $750,000.00, and the posting is in accordance with Florida Statutes governing single-source procurements.

This opportunity is limited to Teledyne FLIR Defense, Inc. as the sole source provider for the required services. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The incumbent vendor is Teledyne FLIR Defense, Inc., and the agency is integrating the existing STAR Safire camera systems into the new extended warranty and service maintenance agreement. The estimated contract value is $750,000.00, which represents the budget range for this procurement.
