About this opportunity

The University of Georgia is seeking a Traffic Tracking Solution for the Tate Student Center through an electronic Request for Proposals (eRFQ) under the State Purchasing Act. The procurement aims to replace existing outdated technology with a more reliable and accurate system for monitoring occupancy levels, improving crowd management, increasing operational efficiency, and generating historical data analysis and reporting. The solution must eliminate manual data collection processes and provide comprehensive tracking capabilities within the Tate Center. Proposals are due by April 3, 2025, with the initial posting made on March 27, 2025. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive, and responsible supplier who meets all specified requirements and with whom the University of Georgia can successfully negotiate contract terms and conditions. Potential suppliers must demonstrate technical capability to deliver a comprehensive traffic tracking system that meets the university's specific operational needs.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be open to qualified suppliers who can meet the technical specifications. The contract will be executed within Clarke County, Georgia, with the specific jurisdiction identified by FIPS Code 13059. No incumbent vendor information or existing infrastructure details are provided in the current documentation. The procurement does not specify a precise budget range or award value, instead focusing on selecting a supplier that can most effectively meet the university's technological requirements. Potential bidders should carefully review the full eRFQ documentation to ensure complete alignment with the University of Georgia's technical and operational expectations for the traffic tracking solution.
