About this opportunity
This is a bid solicitation issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, for a statewide Blanket Purchase Order (Blanket P.O.) for various types and brands of locking hardware. The intent is to award Blanket P.O.s to responsible vendors whose quotes conform to the requirements and are most advantageous to the State. The State may award any and all price lines. The solicitation has one price line for locking hardware, and the State intends to award a statewide Blanket P.O. to each responsive vendor that submits a quote meeting the category definition and requirements. Quotes are due by January 8, 2021. There are no mandatory site visits or pre-quote conferences. The Blanket P.O.s are for a term to be determined, with potential extensions. Vendors may offer a firm, fixed percentage discount or markup from their product price list or catalog.
The solicitation is not a small business or disabled veteran-owned business set-aside. The contract opportunity covers the State of New Jersey, as well as the jurisdictions of Mercer County and Trenton City. No incumbent vendors or specific award values are provided in the available documentation. The State will consider volume discounts but will not factor them into the quote evaluation. Vendors are required to provide a preprinted price list or catalog for each brand bid, and the State may negotiate and request best and final offers before making awards.
