About this opportunity
The St. Johns River Water Management District is requesting bids on submersible groundwater pumps (Grundfos GeoFlo 3 and Redi-Flo2 models) for environmental sampling of groundwater quality monitoring wells across its 18-county service area, with submittals due July 31, 2026 and questions due July 23, 2026.
This is a sole-source procurement — no equivalent pumps will be accepted; respondents must supply only the specified Grundfos models. Respondents must be authorized Grundfos service providers with a minimum of three years' experience supplying submersible groundwater pumps and documented success with at least three similar projects valued at $150,000 or more for independent entities.
The scope encompasses two pump models (GeoFlo 3 [22S10] and Redi-Flo2) available in various configurations with motor lead lengths ranging from 25 to 175 feet, plus approximately 200 feet of Low Density Polyethylene tubing. Estimated quantities total approximately 48 pump units. All equipment must be new, unused, current production Grundfos products. The supplier must provide minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty from date of acceptance, administer warranty claims, and provide technical support and maintenance services.
The estimated budget is $199,990, representing maximum total compensation. The District intends to award a one-year contract effective upon execution and expiring September 30, 2027, with equipment supplied on an as-needed basis via Purchase Orders. Unit prices submitted by respondents will remain firm for the contract term. Delivery must be made to District headquarters at 4049 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida 32177 within 90 days of Purchase Order issuance. Respondents must register with the Florida Secretary of State and the E-Verify system. The District is exempt from Florida sales tax.
