About this opportunity
Nash Community College is requesting letters of interest and Standard Form 254s from architectural firms for engineering, design, and construction-oversight services on the Student Services Remodel (Project 3042), with submissions due October 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Proposing firms must be properly licensed to practice architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture in North Carolina.
The scope encompasses design and engineering for the remodel and reconfiguration of the Student Services area on the first floor of Building A, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Academic Advisors, and Student Services departments, with potential expansion into a portion of the library to increase operational efficiency and modernize the facilities. Submissions must include three copies each of a letter of interest (not to exceed ten single-sided or five double-sided pages) and the current Standard Form 254, formatted on 8.5-by-11-inch pages stapled in the upper left-hand corner with no binders, notebooks, tabs, or clips. Electronic and facsimile submittals will not be accepted.
The total project budget is $2,758,747.48, funded through State Construction Infrastructure Funds (SCIF). The selection committee will evaluate proposals based on ten criteria: specialized expertise, past performance on similar projects, adequate staffing, current workload, proposed design approach, experience with project costs and schedules, construction administration capabilities, local familiarity, and track record of successful project completion. No site visits or guided tours will be conducted prior to submission. Questions should be directed to Ronnie Raper at Nash Community College, 252-451-8240 or Raraper273@nashcc.edu.
