About this opportunity

The state of Idaho is seeking a software solution for tracking data center activity through the SSA - NEICE database access contract opportunity. The procurement involves acquiring specialized software focused on data management and tracking capabilities for state information systems. This contract (ID: 6762d8c56bd9095b4c058212) was posted on December 17, 2024, with a submission deadline of December 20, 2024. The primary objective appears to be implementing a robust tracking mechanism for monitoring data center operations and activities. Potential vendors must demonstrate comprehensive software capabilities that align with state tracking requirements, with likely evaluation criteria including technical compatibility, system integration potential, security features, and overall solution effectiveness. The short timeframe between posting and submission suggests an expedited procurement process, indicating potential urgency in implementing the new tracking system.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, state procurement typically involves considerations for minority-owned, woman-owned, or disadvantaged business enterprises. The contract's focus on database access and tracking suggests potential technical complexity, which might limit responsive bidders to organizations with specific software development and data management expertise. No incumbent vendor information or existing infrastructure details are provided in the current documentation. Given the specialized nature of the procurement, potential vendors should possess demonstrated experience in developing state-level tracking systems, particularly for administrative or social service applications. While no specific budget range is indicated, software solutions for state government data tracking often range from moderate to substantial investment levels, potentially between $50,000 to $250,000 depending on system complexity and customization requirements.
