About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes for a Sound Calibrator under a micro purchase requirements contract, with quotes due August 27, 2026. This is a lowest-responsive-and-responsible-bidder procurement open to all qualified vendors with no stated set-aside or preference restriction.
Sellers must quote all items listed in the specification to be eligible for award; the City may award the contract as a whole or by line item, whichever is in its best interest. No delivery or services may commence until the department issues written notification.
The contract term is 365 days from the effective date specified in PHLContracts, with automatic termination at midnight on the final day and no renewal or extension options. The maximum contract value is $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020, to the most recently published CPI-U and rounded to the nearest $1,000. Pricing must be quoted net, exclusive of all federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania sales and use taxes, on an FOB Destination basis. Quotations remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term for requirements contracts.
Successful sellers must maintain Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits, General Liability at $500,000 per occurrence, and Automobile Liability at $300,000 per occurrence, with the City named as an additional insured. Vendors must certify they are not indebted to Philadelphia for delinquent taxes, liens, or judgments and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Philadelphia's business tax requirements and ethics ordinances. All quotes must be submitted electronically through PHLContracts with an executed Consent & Authorization form attached or on file in the vendor's profile prior to bid closing; failure to submit this form renders the quote non-responsive.
