About this opportunity

Southern Crescent Technical College is seeking a sole-source procurement for a new GE Healthcare Mac-Lab ComboLab AltiX BT22 upgrade with compatible accessories for its Cardiovascular Technology Program. This electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued under the State Purchasing Act to establish a contract with a single qualified supplier. The procurement specifically requires the exact brand and model with no substitutions permitted, indicating a precise technical requirement for matching existing equipment within the program. The solicitation was posted on April 28, 2025, with proposals due by May 7, 2025, providing potential vendors approximately nine days to respond. Technical questions related to the procurement can be directed to the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) Customer Service Help Desk via phone at 404-657-6000 or email at ProcurementHelp@doas.ga.gov, with support available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding state holidays. Vendors must review the eRFQ instructions, bid specifications, and requirements documents available in the Team Georgia Marketplace (TGM) Bid Event attachment section.

The procurement appears to be an unrestricted competitive solicitation without specific set-aside designations or limitations on vendor participation. No information is provided about disadvantaged enterprise requirements or preferences. The solicitation focuses exclusively on acquiring a specific medical technology equipment upgrade for the college's Cardiovascular Technology Program, suggesting a targeted, specialized procurement. While the exact budget or award value is not disclosed in the provided documentation, the description implies a one-time purchase of a high-value medical diagnostic system. The requirement for an exact match to existing equipment suggests this is likely a replacement or expansion of current technological infrastructure within the college's cardiovascular training facilities. Potential vendors must be authorized GE Healthcare equipment suppliers capable of providing the precise Mac-Lab ComboLab AltiX BT22 model with all associated accessories.
