This is a small-business set-aside: bidders must hold California Department of General Services small business or microbusiness certification.

Scope includes assembly, disassembly, relocation, and reconfiguration of modular systems furniture and laboratory equipment on an as-needed basis across CARB's 40+ statewide locations. General liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence, automobile liability of $1 million combined single limit, workers' compensation coverage, motor truck cargo liability, and warehouseman's legal liability are required.

The contract value shall not exceed $249,999.99. The term is twelve months with one optional twelve-month renewal at the State's sole discretion, commencing November 3, 2026. Prevailing wage requirements apply under the State Department of Industrial Relations for multiple California counties; this is a public works project subject to prevailing wage compliance and registration monitoring. Bidders must provide comprehensive rate sheets for bobtail truck services, small box truck services, pickup truck services, modular systems furniture installation, CARB-owned semi-truck operation, on-call emergency services, equipment rental, and storage services.
