The project is funded through the Schuylkill County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. A 10 percent bid bond is required with each submission; the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price with an approved corporate surety. Liquidated damages are set at $500 per day for delays beyond the contract completion time. Progress payments are 95 percent of work completed with 5 percent retainage prior to substantial completion.
