About this opportunity
Colorado Parks & Wildlife's Northeast Region is requesting bids on furnace replacement at Boyd Lake State Park under solicitation S26PNE-7531, with bids due October 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and a pre-bid conference held September 24, 2026.
The scope covers replacement of five furnaces across four bathroom facilities: two in the AB Bathroom, one each in the CD, EF, and Marina bathrooms. The contractor must perform building heat load calculations and equipment sizing verification prior to furnace removal, then conduct testing and balancing after installation. The project carries operational constraints: all bathrooms must remain open to the public through October 31, 2026, with only one bathroom closable at a time for a maximum of four consecutive days (Monday through Thursday). Beginning November 1, 2026, the EF Bathroom closes entirely for construction while the AB, CD, and Marina bathrooms remain subject to the same single-closure restrictions. The contractor has 30 calendar days to complete the project following issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
SDVOSB certification through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is applicable if claimed. Bidders must submit a signed bid schedule acknowledging any addenda, a Contractor's Qualifications and References Statement, and a completed W-9 form; failure to submit the W-9 may delay award. All addenda and project amendments are posted to the Colorado State Vendor Self Serve website at www.colorado.gov/VSS, and bidders are responsible for checking and acknowledging addenda in their submission.
Questions are due September 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to Project Manager Dmitry Tepo at dmitry.tepo@state.co.us or (720) 765-2568. Bids are submitted via email to Tepo, fax, or hand delivery to the Northeast Regional Office. Bid tabulation results will be posted to VSS following the bid opening, and the lowest responsible bidder will be contacted for award. Upon award, Purchase Orders typically require one to two weeks to process, followed by a pre-construction meeting and Notice to Proceed.
