About this opportunity

The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources (GCDWR) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of Sanitary Sewer Flow Monitoring and Maintenance Services on a multi-year contract. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing, installing, and maintaining 162 permanent flow monitors, 29 rain gauge stations, and 27 micro-monitoring meters across Gwinnett County's sanitary sewer system. The contract will have a four-year term, and proposals are due by September 10, 2024. Proposers must have the capability to provide high-quality data and reporting, and the County may award an optional software tool that quantifies inflow and infiltration. The RFP includes detailed technical specifications for the required equipment and data management, and pricing will be a key evaluation factor.

The RFP is open to all qualified contractors, but vendors currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list will not be considered. The County does not require bonds for this solicitation and will not purchase the existing flow monitoring equipment. The contract value is not specified, but the additional flow monitors will be used for micro-monitoring as needed across the County's sanitary sewer system. Subcontractors may be used, but the prime contractor must perform the core services.
