All costs related to pesticides, materials, labor, equipment, maintenance of traffic, and water for mixing are included in the unit rate with no separate payment. Payment is made only after work completion, Department acceptance, and invoice approval. Liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day apply if services are not completed by the designated completion date.
The contract term is twelve months beginning on or about September 4, 2026, with the possibility of one renewal upon mutual agreement of the parties, subject to satisfactory performance evaluations and fund availability. Technical questions are due August 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., with responses posted by August 26. Public bid opening is scheduled for August 31 at 10:00 a.m., and the intended award notice will be posted the same day at 2:00 p.m. Bidders must submit a Minimum Qualifications Statement, three work references, a Drug-Free Workplace Program Certification, a Scrutinized Companies Lists certification, and an E-Verify compliance acknowledgment.
