About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has issued Addendum No. 1 to its Solicitation No. RFSOQBDC01-22/23 for the William J. "Billy Joe" Rish Recreation Area - Facility Development Projects, located in Leon County, Florida. The procurement seeks design services for various facility development projects at the recreation area, including new ranger residences and toilet facilities. Applicants must submit their qualifications by June 7, 2022, and the evaluation criteria will be scored as outlined in the RFSOQ documents. The addendum provides clarification on the submission requirements, including the use of SF330 forms, the inclusion of subconsultants, and the design preferences for the facilities. It also addresses questions related to the evaluation criteria, such as diversity, FDOT roadway methodologies, and the limitation on the number of projects that can be submitted per client.

The solicitation does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The contract opportunity is open to all qualified applicants, and the FDEP has not provided any information on incumbent vendors or current contractors. The addendum also confirms that FDEP Attachments F through I are to be included in the proposal, and that additional client forms can be added to Attachment D. The total budget or award value for this contract opportunity has not been specified.
