About this opportunity
The City of Milton, Florida, has issued Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2025.08 for Commercial Real Estate Services targeting professional licensed commercial real estate brokers to provide comprehensive real estate transaction support. The procurement seeks a vendor capable of executing multiple service components, including preparing real estate marketing plans, showing parcels/properties, identifying commercial properties for purchase or lease, conducting appraisals and market analyses, providing financial consultation, and structuring and closing real estate transactions. Key deliverables involve comprehensive transaction management, negotiation representation, document preparation, and potential public meeting presentations. Evaluation of proposals will occur on a 100-point scale, with points allocated across categories such as ability to meet RFQ requirements (20 points), local market knowledge (20 points), understanding of Florida municipal real property statutes (20 points), qualifications and experience (15 points), fee structures (15 points), response completeness (5 points), and references (5 points). Critical procurement dates include a question submission deadline of October 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST), with answers posted by November 10, 2025, and sealed proposal submissions due November 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Milton City Hall.
The RFQ requires proposers to provide evidence of proper Florida licensing and complete various compliance documentation, including the Public Entity Crime Form, Drug-Free Workplace certification, conflict of interest disclosure, and E-Verify statement. Vendors must maintain specific insurance coverage, including $1,000,000 commercial general liability, $1,000,000 automobile liability, and statutory workers' compensation. The contract term will span three years from the award date, with potential for two additional one-year renewals through mutual written agreement. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals and potentially award to multiple vendors. While no specific set-aside designations are mentioned, proposers will be evaluated comprehensively, with potential for oral presentations to the Milton City Council. No specific budget range or award value is explicitly stated in the documentation, though the comprehensive nature of services suggests a significant potential contract value for the selected commercial real estate services provider.
