About this opportunity
The state of Oregon, through CareOregon, is seeking a contractor with deep expertise in National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation to lead the organization through the accreditation process. CareOregon is pursuing NCQA Accreditation to showcase its commitment to quality. The selected contractor will be responsible for a detailed schedule of tasks, milestones, and deliverables, including a readiness assessment, improvement plan, document development, training, and technical assistance. Quotes are due by June 14, 2023, and interviews will be conducted virtually between June 21-23, 2023. The contract term is 24 months with options for two 6-month extensions. CareOregon will evaluate Quotes based on factors such as firm experience, staff experience, price/fees, references, and the proposed approach to completing the project.
The procurement is open to all qualified vendors, and no specific funding sources or set-asides are mentioned in the documents. CareOregon has not provided a budget range for this project, but will consider quotes that reflect the actual cost of the work. The organization has a dedicated staff position and project management resources to support the accreditation process, as well as executive-level sponsorship. CareOregon is considering adding the Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) distinction, the Medicare module, and/or the Medicaid module, based on the results of the gap analysis and the value these additions would bring to the organization.
