About this opportunity

Warren Consolidated Schools is soliciting sealed hard-copy bids for Bid Package 18 of its 2022 Bond Program, the Sterling Heights High School Performing Arts Center video wall project in Warren, Michigan, with bids due November 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bids are publicly opened and read immediately after the deadline. No oral, facsimile, or emailed bids are accepted, and bids must use the Clark Construction Company Bid Form, delivered to Susan Andrzejewski, Fiscal Services Manager, at 31300 Anita Drive, Warren, MI 48093.

Addendum No. 1, issued October 28, 2026 by Wakely Associates, Inc., revises architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and adds six itemized pricing lines (A1, A2, M1, M2, E1, and E2), each marked for bidder entry as ADD, DEDUCT, or NO CHANGE. Re-issued sheets include A22.12H, A22.61, MD22.12H, M22.12H, ED22.11H, and E22.12H. Revised work includes removing a concrete housekeeping pad under a new transformer, cutting a 48"x48" temporary material loading opening in a masonry wall, new ceiling grid and tile, added ductwork demolition and coordination, temporary removal and reinstallation of ceiling-mounted devices in corridors H123 and H125, isolator pads for vibration reduction, and relocation of conduits and backboxes. The addendum requires field verification of underground utilities, existing equipment locations, and ceiling-mounted devices, plus trade-to-trade coordination on exact locations and connections.

Bid documents were available from October 23, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. through the Clark Construction Company plan room at clarkcc.com under the bids tab. Questions go to Sam Gottlieb at Clark Construction Company, Sgottlieb@clarkcc.com. The pre-bid proposal meeting was scheduled for October 26, 2026, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Sterling Heights High School, and attendance was highly recommended. That date has passed. The Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid it deems in the district's best interest.
