About this opportunity

Grant County Public Utility District is requesting proposals for general engineering services supporting the Priest Rapids Project, a 2,090-megawatt hydroelectric facility on the Columbia River, with proposals due September 2, 2026.

The Priest Rapids Project comprises the Priest Rapids Development and Wanapum Development, located across Grant, Kittitas, and Yakima counties in Washington. The engineering services scope addresses ongoing operations and maintenance of this critical infrastructure, though the RFP attachment does not enumerate specific deliverables, task orders, or performance metrics in the summary provided.

The RFP evaluation will assess bidder qualifications, technical approach, pricing, and relevant experience in utility-scale engineering projects. Specific evaluation weightings and criteria details are contained in the full RFP document. The contract funding derives from the Priest Rapids Project's operational budget. The RFP attachment notes that prospective bidders must review technical specifications, insurance and bonding requirements, and compliance obligations in the detailed RFP sections; however, those specific requirements, contract term, and estimated value are not summarized in the available materials. Questions due date, pre-bid meeting or site-visit schedule, and anticipated award timeline are referenced within the RFP but not extracted in the summary provided.
