RFP 23-0198-5 Layout Design and Provision of Dispatch Consoles

Chatham County, Georgia is seeking a qualified vendor to design a space layout and provide five dispatch consoles for the Chatham County Sheriff's Office through a Request for Proposals (RFP) process. The selected vendor will be responsible for designing the layout of the dispatch room and delivering and installing the dispatch consoles, which must meet specific technical requirements related to size, environmental controls, monitor arrays, and technology storage and ports. Proposals are due by January 30, 2024, and the contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to Chatham County, considering factors such as experience, approach, MBE/WBE participation, and cost. The RFP requires a lump sum price for the layout design, dispatch consoles, delivery, and installation, as well as separate pricing for maintenance costs over a multi-year period.

The RFP includes provisions related to local preference and minority/women-owned business participation. No incumbent vendor or current contractor information is provided, and the available budget range is not specified. However, the RFP indicates that Chatham County is seeking to upgrade its dispatch capabilities, and the successful vendor will need to integrate with any existing infrastructure or technology as required.
