About this file

This document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Chatham County Purchasing & Contracting Department for the layout design and provision of dispatch consoles for the Chatham County Sheriff's Office. The County is seeking a qualified vendor to design a space layout and provide five dispatch consoles meeting specific technical requirements. The RFP includes details on the mandatory pre-proposal conferences scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2024, and the proposal submission deadline of January 30, 2024. The contract award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to Chatham County, considering factors such as experience, approach, MBE/WBE participation, and cost.

The cost proposal requires a lump sum price for the layout design, dispatch consoles, delivery, and installation, as well as separate pricing for maintenance costs over a multi-year period. The RFP also includes provisions related to local preference, minority/women-owned business participation, and contractor performance evaluations. Chatham County has specified technical requirements for the dispatch consoles, including size, environmental controls, monitor arrays, and technology storage and ports.
