About this opportunity
The Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG), as the Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority (LIDDA) for Bexar County, Texas, is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) to subcontract the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Service Array to a network of public and private Provider organizations. The RFA seeks Providers that can deliver a range of required services, including applied behavior analysis, behavioral support, community support, day habilitation, respite care, speech/language therapy, and transportation. Providers must meet specified licensing, insurance, and outcome requirements, and applications will be evaluated quarterly by the IDDS Advisory Committee and AACOG Board of Directors. The RFA outlines detailed rate schedules for the various service categories, with minimum and maximum hourly or daily rates provided, though AACOG does not guarantee any referral volume to selected Providers.
The RFA has an open enrollment period with quarterly submission deadlines on July 31, October 31, and January 31 annually. AACOG will review applications and make award decisions within 2-3 months of each submission deadline. The contract term is unspecified, but Providers may be added to the network on an ongoing basis. Funding for these services is provided through state and federal sources, though the specific amounts are not disclosed. AACOG reserves the right to conduct interviews and site visits as part of the evaluation process.
