About this opportunity
The State of Maine is requesting bids on respirator supplies to support vehicle refurbishment and repair at a production facility in Limestone, Maine, with bids due October 5, 2012. The solicitation is subject to the Buy American Act.
The scope comprises eight line items: Organic Vapor Cartridge, P100 Particulate Filter (Pair), N95 Particulate Filter (Pair), Peel-Off Lens Covers for Fullface Mask, Supplied Air Hood, 1-1/2 HP Oil-Less Supplied Air Pump, 25' Lightweight PVC Breathing Air Line, and 50' Lightweight PVC Breathing Air Line. The contract is a one-year purchasing agreement with potential extension eligibility. Projected purchase volumes are based on current production projections with no guaranteed minimum or maximum volume. The State anticipates awarding to one or more vendors. Bid prices must be fixed for any quantity or partial shipment quantities unless otherwise agreed to before award and must include all freight and delivery charges to the Limestone destination FOB.
First delivery capability must be within 30 days of contract award. Bidders must provide quantities available for immediate delivery and additional quantities available by November 1, 2012. Bidders must complete mandatory columns in the Bid Response Data Tab, including registered name, reference number, product description, condition (new, remanufactured, or other), manufacturer information, country of origin, product ID, unit price FOB destination, price guarantee date, normal delivery lead time, and delivery-date quantities.
All bidders must pass screening through the federal Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) and submit a Debarment Certification certifying non-debarred status and absence of disqualifying convictions or judgments within the prior three years. A Questions and Answers document issued as an addendum provides official clarifications on specifications, delivery, and compliance requirements.
