About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) is seeking approximately 15-20 designers to provide professional design and construction administration services for the replacement of exterior windows/doors and roofing to increase energy efficiency in educational facilities in Suffolk County, including the City of Boston. The eligible districts will be invited to participate in the MSBA's Accelerated Repair Program. Designers will be selected for a term of three years, but are not guaranteed assignment to any specific number of projects. Responses must be submitted by April 25, 2024, and the MSBA anticipates selecting designers by July 23, 2024. The MSBA expects an annual budget of approximately $150 million for the Program following the approval of the Commonwealth's FY 24 Budget. Projects will be subject to further approval by the MSBA's Board of Directors. The evaluation criteria include knowledge and experience with energy efficient incentive and rebate programs.
Paragraph 2:
The MSBA is committed to developing and strengthening participation from minority, women, veteran, disability-owned, and LGBTQ business enterprises, and will consider a respondent's ability to further these goals as part of the evaluation criteria. The RFR does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient financial information.
