About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Responses (RFR) issued by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) for Accelerated Repair Design Services. The RFR is seeking designers to provide design and construction administration services for the replacement of exterior windows/doors and roofing to increase energy efficiency in educational facilities invited to participate in the MSBA's Accelerated Repair Program. The RFR provides details on submission requirements, including the need for an up-to-date Master File Brochure to be submitted electronically to the MSBA and included in the Response. Responses must be submitted electronically by the April 25th deadline, and hard copy submissions will not be accepted.

The RFR indicates that project assignments may include either roofing (replacement or restoration) or exterior windows/doors, or both. Respondents are expected to assemble a team with the necessary disciplines to complete the required services. The evaluation criteria include knowledge and experience with energy efficient incentive and rebate programs. Pricing details and funding sources are not provided in the Addendum, but the RFR is part of the MSBA's Accelerated Repair Program, which is focused on increasing energy efficiency in Massachusetts educational facilities.
