About this opportunity
The Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD), under the Department of Human Services, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) soliciting informational responses from qualified telecommunications vendors regarding statewide Telecommunication Relay Services. The procurement seeks vendor information on their capabilities to provide 711-dialed Telecommunication Relay Services (TRS), Speech to Speech Services (STS), and analog Captioned Telephone Service (CTS) on an as-needed basis. The primary objective is to gather information from vendors regarding their willingness and ability to continue providing FCC-compliant analog telecommunications relay services beginning in 2027 and beyond, as well as any advanced accessible telecommunication technologies they may offer. Vendors are not required to submit comprehensive, fully developed proposals; instead, responses should include a concise summary of interest, a brief description of services offered, and an overview of their ability to provide relay and accessible telecommunications technologies in Nevada. The RFI response deadline is May 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with a deadline for vendor questions set for April 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, and answers to be posted by April 22, 2026. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals, and no contract award will result from the responses submitted. Submissions should be made through nevadaepro.com or via email to Mariana Acevedo at macevedo@adsd.nv.gov, with all attachments flagged as confidential.
This RFI contains no set-aside designations or restrictions limiting the types of organizations that can respond, nor does it identify any incumbent vendors or current contractors. No disadvantaged enterprise preferences or small business classifications are mentioned in the procurement documentation. The RFI does not require integration with existing infrastructure or technology, as it is informational in nature and designed to support ADSD's preparation for the Relay Nevada contract cycle beginning July 1, 2027. There is no cost component associated with this RFI, and no award values or budget ranges are provided at this stage. All information submitted in response to this RFI is treated as confidential and proprietary and is not subject to disclosure. The State reserves the right to modify the proposed timeline at any time.
