Addendum #1, effective April 17, 2023, identifies three approved contractors qualified to bid on this project: Albany Air, Apex Facility Services, and SafeAire. Bidders must acknowledge this addendum on the bid form to avoid disqualification. The addendum also amended electrical work specifications on Sheet E201, requiring new conduit and wire connections to existing disconnect switches, voltage conversion through a new variable frequency drive (VFD), automatic volume dampers, circuit extensions, and new 60-ampere fused disconnect switches with proper feeder sizing. Electrical modifications include reusing existing feeders where applicable and connecting new equipment to the main service board through the mechanically located VFD.
