About this opportunity
The State of Nevada, Department of Administration Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide radio advertising services across various NDOW missions and initiatives, such as boating, hunting, angling, wildlife, and agency promotion. The contract is expected to be for a term of four years, subject to Board of Examiners approval. The solicitation outlines the scope of work, which includes radio advertising and production, as well as evaluation criteria, mandatory requirements, and other critical items for vendors to address in their proposals. Pricing will be evaluated based on the average cost per thousand impressions, and the State intends to award one or more contracts as determined in the best interests of the State. The deadline for proposal submission is February 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm Pacific Time.
The State will apply a 5% preference to Nevada-based businesses and an inverse preference to vendors with a principal place of business in a state that applies an in-state preference not afforded to Nevada-based vendors. The contract opportunity does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The Letter of Intent indicates that the State has completed the evaluation process and intends to award contracts to iHeartMedia and Reno Media Group LP. The proposal details and evaluation scores will be posted on NevadaEPro.com after the contract is awarded, and the contract will not be effective until approved by the Nevada State Board of Examiners. The procurement is being conducted in accordance with NRS Chapter 333 and NAC Chapter 333, and vendors must comply with the State's insurance and other contractual requirements.
