About this opportunity
The State of Ohio, through the Department of Natural Resources, is procuring one John Deere Z970R ZTrak mower, two 72-inch construction and tooth buckets, and is willing to accept up to five pieces of used trade-in equipment for Rocky Fork State Park in Hillsboro, Ohio. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the low lot total, which is calculated by multiplying the unit costs by the estimated usage and adding the totals. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a quote, and the delivery date for the new equipment is required prior to June 2024. The procurement includes detailed technical specifications for the mower and buckets, and the contract is only valid for goods and services received through June 30, 2024, requiring a new purchase order for any items after that date. Invoices must be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services.
The procurement includes preferences for Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprises, which can receive up to a 5% price or scoring advantage, as well as Buy Ohio and Buy American preferences of up to 5-6%. There is no information provided about any incumbent contractors or the current environment. Funding requirements and sources are not specified, but the contract will be awarded based on the low lot total price.
