The contractor will be responsible for protecting existing utilities, maintaining a clean work site, and guaranteeing all work for two years after project acceptance. The City will retain a percentage of each payment estimate until final approval, with potential reduction to five percent retainage after fifty percent project completion, plus a 10% owner's contingency to cover unexpected costs or additional work. Bids must be submitted electronically through the OpenGov procurement portal, with mailed, faxed, hand-delivered, and emailed bids not accepted.
