About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide a variety of promotional items, including inflatable paddleboards, camping hammocks, mesh bags, vinyl sticker sheets, and long-sleeve raglan shirts, to support initiatives for the Florida State Parks system and the Coral Reef Conservation program. The requested quantities range from 75 to 10,000 units per item, and all deliveries must be made no later than September 15, 2022 to the DEP Annex/Warehouse in Tallahassee and the DEP Biscayne Bay Environmental Center in Miami. The solicitation provides detailed technical specifications for each item, including size, color, imprint requirements, and shipping details. Vendors must submit pricing on the provided Form D Price Sheet, and the DEP reserves the right to make a single award or multiple awards, or to make no award, as determined to be in the best interest of the state. The public opening is scheduled for April 6, 2022, and the DEP anticipates making an award on or about April 12, 2022.

The solicitation does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The DEP indicates that subcontractors are allowed, and the addendum clarifies that similar but not exact branded items can be proposed. There is no history of these specific items being procured on a previous contract, and the addendum does not provide any information on possible award values or budget ranges. The DEP reserves the right to move to the next lowest responsive bidder if the lowest total priced bidder cannot meet the terms and conditions of the Invitation to Bid.
