About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a vendor to provide promotional items for its Annual Bus Roadeo event through a competitive procurement process (Reference #2095800). The solicitation requires a comprehensive order of customized promotional merchandise, specifically 425 royal blue 40 oz double-wall stainless steel tumblers, 475 royal blue Rangeley laptop backpacks, 678 royal Carter caps, 425 Element 58" recycled auto-open folding umbrellas, 290 24-piece tool kits in tire boxes, and 475 Gildan dry blend t-shirts in varied sizes from small to 6XL. All items must be decorated with full-color "DART Roadeo" branding using techniques like heat transfer, embroidery, and screen-printing. The procurement is located in Dallas County, Texas, with a submission deadline of October 9, 2025, and a required delivery date of October 27, 2025. Vendors must register on the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid information and are required to submit comprehensive pricing that includes all associated costs such as labor, materials, freight, and financing. Bonfire registration is mandatory, and false statements may constitute a criminal offense under Texas Penal Code.

While no specific set-aside designations are explicitly mentioned, vendors must comply with DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which include provisions for equal opportunity employment. The purchase order includes standard payment terms of Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. Vendors must provide detailed line-item pricing and cannot substitute items without prior approval. The procurement does not specify a total budget or award value, but requires vendors to price the entire order comprehensively. DART reserves the right to reject deliveries that do not meet specifications and can terminate the order for default if delivery schedules are not met. Legal jurisdiction for any disputes will be in Dallas County, Texas, and all legal matters will be governed by Texas state law. The solicitation emphasizes precise delivery requirements, with time and delivery rates being critical to contract performance.
