About this opportunity
The City of Burleson is seeking to pre-qualify architectural and engineering firms, surveying firms, and right-of-way acquisition firms licensed to practice in Texas for on-an-as-needed professional services over a five-year period from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2031, with qualifications due March 31, 2031.
This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) establishing a pre-qualified firms list rather than a procurement tied to a specific project or guaranteed scope. Placement on the list does not guarantee contract award or project selection. When the City identifies a specific professional services need, it will select one or more qualified firms from the pre-qualified roster based on individual project scope and requirements.
Eligible firms must be licensed to practice in Texas and demonstrate qualifications and experience across one or more of three service categories: architectural and engineering, surveying, and right-of-way acquisition. The RFQ document (RFQ 2026-017 PROFSVCS.pdf, 4 MB) details qualification standards and submission requirements.
The pre-qualification approach allows the City to maintain a roster of qualified service providers without committing to guaranteed work, volumes, or pricing. Subsequent awards for specific projects will be issued through separate procurements once service needs are identified.
