About this opportunity
The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles is soliciting quotes for production and delivery of printed #10 business envelopes for use court-wide under RFQ No. 2026-35172405.1, with quotes due October 30, 2026. Only new product is accepted, and alternate brands will not be accepted.
Vendors may respond to all or some line items, but the Court may prefer to award all line items to one vendor and is not bound to consider partial bids. It may also award to other than the lowest-priced vendor if deemed in the Court's best interest. Specifications, material requirements, packaging standards, and pricing instructions appear only in the attached RFQ, which vendors must complete directly on the submission documents, since incomplete entries may render a bid non-responsive. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Court's Bonfire portal before the due date and time. Pricing must be all-inclusive except for applicable taxes and remains good for 90 days. Bid contact is Salvador Vargas.
Delivery is F.O.B. Destination-Freight Prepaid unless otherwise stated, with the vendor bearing risk of loss until delivery to the Court location. Deliveries serve the Court's 38 locations across 88 cities in Los Angeles County. The Court may inspect and reject goods within 30 days of delivery, and payment does not constitute acceptance. Vendors must maintain records for five years after final payment, carry appropriate insurance, and comply with nondiscrimination laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and California's Fair Employment and Housing Act. For agreements of $100,000 or more, contractors must certify compliance with the Unruh Civil Rights Act and Fair Employment and Housing Act. The Court may terminate for convenience, with a restocking charge capped at 10 percent of the purchase price for standard products.
A General Artificial Intelligence Provisions document governs vendor use of generative AI in performing the contract. Vendors must accept Court standard contract forms rather than their own. Pre-execution documentation may include California business licenses, DVBE or Small Business declarations if applicable, and seller's permits for tangible personal property sales. Bids are subject to public disclosure under California law, with limited exceptions.
