Portable Sanitation Services

The Suwannee River Water Management District (the District) is seeking bids for Portable Sanitation Services in designated service regions in North Central Florida. The District is requesting proposals from firms that can provide portable sanitation services, including ADA-approved and non-ADA units, at several recreation sites owned and managed by the District, such as Suwannee Springs Park, Falmouth Springs Park, Goose Pasture Recreation Area, and Steinhatchee Falls Park. The scope of work includes unit quantities, maintenance schedules, and additional pump-out requirements. Bids are due by August 11, 2022, at 3:00 PM EDT, and the District plans to execute contracts by October 1, 2022. The initial contract term is through September 30, 2023, with the District having the option to renew for two subsequent one-year periods. The ITB provides detailed bid cost schedules for each service region, including monthly rates for ADA-approved and non-ADA units, as well as charges for additional pump-outs.

The District encourages participation by minority and veteran-owned business enterprises, and in the absence of such, will give preference to the equal bidder. The selected contractor(s) will be required to provide workers' compensation, motor vehicle liability, and general liability insurance coverage. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified, and the ITB does not specify a budget range or award value.
