This procurement is a Request for Bids targeting contractors experienced in pool equipment replacement and installation. The specific scope of work includes removing and properly disposing of existing strainer pot assemblies, furnishing three new pump strainer pot assemblies with all necessary components (including basket, lid, o-ring gaskets, and hardware), and installing the equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Contractors must submit comprehensive written bids by 3:00 p.m. on March 12, 2020, either via sealed hard copy envelope or email to jsalvo@cityofedgerton.com. While no incumbent vendor is mentioned, the contract requires the selected contractor to coordinate all work through Howard Moser, the Municipal Services Director, and comply with Federal, State, and Local safety regulations. Contractors will be responsible for any damages caused to the pool area during equipment installation, which must be repaired at no additional cost to the City. Payment terms are structured with remittance within 30 days of invoice submission and approval by the Municipal Services Director or designee. Although a specific budget range is not disclosed, the scope involves replacing three pump strainer assemblies, suggesting a relatively contained project cost.
