UNSPSC 49241711: Spa cover

UNSPSC 49241711 Spa cover is a Commodity code that shows minimal relevance to recent state and local procurement activity. The three most recent opportunities tagged under this code—law enforcement equipment through Sourcewell cooperative purchasing, bird pool construction at a Florida marine science facility, and athletic equipment and apparel for a Georgia university—do not align with spa cover procurement. Issuing bodies include state cooperative purchasing units (Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit), county governments (Volusia County, Florida), and higher education institutions (Albany State University, University System of Georgia). The geographic spread covers Minnesota, Florida, and Georgia based on the recent postings, though these opportunities reflect misclassification rather than genuine spa cover demand from state and local buyers.

No recent state and local contract opportunities for spa covers are present in the available data. The code appears dormant or incorrectly applied in current procurement activity. Businesses evaluating this code should flag it for limited pursuit unless market intelligence from direct outreach to state and local facilities management offices (parks departments, recreation facilities, public pools, university recreation centers) surfaces genuine demand outside the formal cooperative purchasing and online RFP channels currently captured.
