The scope covers crack cleaning and filling, chip seal application with aggregate, centerline and edge striping in solid yellow, broken yellow, and double solid yellow markings, ADA-compliant parking lot striping at Pike View, and removal and resetting of concrete parking blocks across approximately one mile of Juniper Road (stations JR 36+40 to JR 113+00, totaling approximately 76,600 linear feet with roughly 20,838 square yards of asphalt paving). All work must conform to Colorado Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridge Construction. The estimated project cost is between $225,000 and $275,000. The contract term runs 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (tentatively September 8, 2026), with substantial completion targeted for December 6, 2026. Liquidated damages are assessed at $250 per day for work not completed within contract time. If the final bid equals or exceeds $150,000, the successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and labor and materials bond equal to 100% of the contract price at eight percent per annum interest.
Commercial general liability insurance is required with minimum limits of $1,000,000 combined single limit, along with workers' compensation, automobile liability, and pollution liability coverage.
