About this opportunity

The State of Nevada, Office of the Military is requesting bids for installation of a new 35-foot commercial-grade flagpole at the OTAG facility in Carson City, with bids due October 23, 2026 through Nevada ePRO. This is a one-time project, not an ongoing service agreement.

The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, and site restoration: underground utility clearance through 811 prior to excavation, concrete coring and foundation excavation, flagpole sleeve and pole installation per manufacturer specifications, sidewalk repair, fabrication of a light cove to accommodate four new upper lights, halyard system property testing, and site cleanup with proper debris disposal. Work is restricted to Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the secure military facility unless prior arrangements are made with the Facility Supervisor or Manager. Contractors must contact the site manager at least two working days before any site visits.

Contractors must hold a current Nevada Business License and, if applicable, a current Nevada Contractor's License. Mandatory insurance includes Commercial General Liability ($2 million general aggregate), Commercial Automobile ($1 million combined single limit), and Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, with the State of Nevada named as additional insured. Contractors must register with the Nevada State Controller's Office and Nevada ePRO and obtain background clearance through the NVARNG Personal Security Questionnaire. Work must comply with NRS 338.485 regarding liability for delays and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Contract expiration is June 30, 2028. Award is contingent on State or Federal funding and will be based on overall cost, conformance to solicitation requirements, current valid Nevada licenses, and satisfaction of mandatory insurance requirements. A one-year warranty on workmanship and materials applies from the substantially completed date. Bid proposals must include total project cost with all labor, materials, equipment, and services itemized.
